We were delighted by the warmth Richard and his family have in caring for their guests. They are truly beautiful people, who maintain a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for their guests. Richard and his family put a lot of love into this great little bungalow and it really made our trip special. The place is definitely rustic, but that's pretty normal for this part of the world, so don't expect anything fancy.
The air conditioning was a nice bonus, and the place stayed pretty cool because it didn't get a lot of sunlight. That was a blessing and a curse, because it was also rather dark and there was nowhere to hang up your wet bathing suits and towels to dry in the sun. And it is the bottom floor of a two-story cabia, so when someone upstairs was walking around it was really loud and as if someone was going to fall through the floor. But generally it was pretty quiet and private, and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook simple meals.
Shali was very friendly and helpful, as was Sam, his lovely teen-aged stepdaughter, who always had a smile and was quick to help with anything I needed. The maid also came every day, which was great, so the place stayed as clean as it could be considering it was a bit damp and smelled of mildew. Some incense and candles helped that a bit. But having the cleaning service was really good. It's a decent price for what you get, and the natural surroundings make up for whatever is lacking at the place.
I think the price could be a little lower, but it's high season here so understandable the price reflects the market. All in all, a good experience. Best location in the area, right at the beach with surfing directly in front of our place.

The location is a bit of walk from the town center itself and cab rides are very expensive. If the restaurant happens to not be open, the other options are not as budget friendly so come prepared if you're on a budget.

Full kitchen and comfortable bathroom; we cooked a few meals and enjoyed them on the patio, and had pizza delivered one night.

The birdcage at surf vista Villas is amazing! It is a small space but has a well equipped kitchen and a decent bathroom. The room is mostly windows so it feels very open. But if you need privacy the curtains are good. The driveway is steep and has some rough spots but a lot of it is paved. We had a very small rental car that made it up but it could be tricky at times. The caretaker Mora is a great guy! He is very nice and always happy to give tips or set up rentals.

The AC unit also works awesome. And of course you can't beat that view The Birdcage Surf Vista Villas was super cool! The views are incredible, the place was quiet and relaxing, and Andy and Kota were very accomodating.

Andy est tres sympa. The Birdcage is a secluded one bedroom atop the laundry area at the Surf Vista Villas that has a beautiful deck and outside kitchen that overlooks the jungle and beach.
The view is stunning. The room is exquisite, equipped with wifi, air conditioning, a fan that cools the room off very well, a safe for valuables, clean towels and linens. The bathroom is separate from the room and is down the stairs also very clean. There is an amazing pool right outside the bedroom that has a massive deck also overlooking the hills of beautiful trees and beaches.
The deck was large enough for Justin and I to practice yoga, read, and just enjoy the weather. Andy was on site to make sure all of singles de santa teresa precios 2018 needs were met. She was very kind and so were the two pups on site as well. The villas are secluded and a nice, steep hill ride up into the jungle so the hustle and bustle and dust from the busy road is no concern here at all.

Fernando estuvo al pendiente todo el tiempo y nos consiguió transporte muuuuy temprano. La verdad es que "El Chante" fue toda una sorpresa. Despues de recorrer varios alojamientos durante la semana, decidimos hacer noche en Santa Teresa. El anfitrión, Fernando, estuvo pendiente en todo momento de nuestra llegada. La casa estaba limpia, muy bien decorada y, sobre todo, MUY confortable. Las instalaciones como el césped o la piscina estaban muy cuidados. It was the perfect spot, just north of Santa Teresa with an amazing pool area to hang out by after a day at the beach. The house also has a ping pong table, a bar, and and some extra beach games to use. Beach access was close by, only a 10 minute walk, and was one of the top beaches I've been to. Fernando has a nice set of surfboards that he makes available to guests which was nice since we didn't have to worry about renting from random shops in town. Compared to other places we stayed at in Costa Rica, I think that this place was a steal.

La entrada a la playa queda a unos 50 m de Calé, y con varios restaurantes deliciosos alrededor. Lu fue muy linda desde el comienzo. El lugar es exactamente lo que aparece en las fotos; cómodo, ubicado y equipado. Muy lindo apartamento con todo lo necesario para la estadía. Tiene una muy buena ducha singles de santa teresa precios 2018 agua caliente, aire acondicionado y utensilios de cocina. Otro punto a destacar es que la limpieza de la habitación es diaria y excelente, es como quedarse en un hotel.
La ubicación es muy buena, se encuentra sobre la calle principal, muy cerca de la playa principal de Santa Teresa, comercios y restaurantes. Un aspecto adicional a tener en cuenta es que no hay lugar para estacionar el auto dentro de la propiedad, se debe estacionar a la entrada o sobre la calle. Lu y Lupe son un amor, muy amables siempre y muy preocupadas de ayudarnos en todo. La casita esta siempre impecable, es comoda y muy bonita. La verdad nos encantó el lugar. Tuvimos un pequeño accidente con el carro frente a la propiedad y no dudó ni un segundo en buscarnos ayuda! No tuvimos el gusto de conocer a Leo pero estamos seguros q es igual q ella: La villa muy agradable y con espacios bien diseñados. Ubicación céntrica, se puede caminar a la playa, al supermercado, a los principales restaurantes de la zona.
El estar ligeramente alejada de la avenida principal permite observar algunos animales aves, ardillas, monos aulladores y disminuir el ruido de motocicletas y cuadraciclos. Nuestros huéspedes siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades.
Pasamos unos dias deliciosos en Santa teresa. La casa es perfecta en cuanto a ubicaciondecorada con gusto y comoda. Nos encanto el detalle de la fruta fresca al llegar. Cuando vuelva por alli les contactare.
The place is clean and stylish. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They organized trips for us and gave us tips on where to eat etc. Great place to stay! Very clean house, excellent bedrooms and an overall beautiful home.

The vibration when you walk in is truly magical and loving. Exceeded the photos and expectations more than I thought possible. I cannot wait to be back!!! We primarily interacted with Rob as our host. He is the nicest person ever and did everything he could to make us comfortable. The studio has everything you need and is in a great location. Even though it is on the main road, noise was never an issue.
We will definitely stay here again. Great responsiveness and location. We stayed here with our son under 2 and it was nice to be able to walk most places. Note that the floors and balcony are not ideal for a kid that age, but it was fine.
Marianne was very helpful with tips on things to do with a young child. It would have been helpful to have some dish towels and dish soap we had to buy a large dish soap bottle, which wasn't ideal. We also were not left with toilet paper, but after I let Marianne know, she was quick to address that.
The place was awesome. Marianne and Rob so nice and the location just perfect for everything that Santa Teresa can offer. I had a really fantastic two months living in the magic place.

The kitchen is very basic, but I got the impression lots of additions and upgrades are on the way! As mentioned in the description, there is a bit of road noise, ear plugs were helpful for me. Big comfy bed, nice sheets, quality ac unit, giant dream catcher, nice balcony, just a lovely space to relax in after a long surf or adventure!!

The bungalow itself was beautiful. Modern, yet very natural and simple. The view of the ocean was a treat to wake up to every morning. Thank you Youbi and Tatiana! Away from noice, hustle and dust, facing the ocean. Family lives in a separate house a few feet away. Youbi is an excellent resource on what to do and where to go in the area.
We spent days near the beach, eating out. But made our dinners at the place watching sunset. The supermarket is by the main road 2 min drive.
Malpais is about 10 min by car. Youbi's place was the highlight of our trip! I bit tricky to get to the bungalow but well worth it and actually pretty close to town. We appreciated how clean and modern everything was and how helpful Youbi was with directions and tips. Would highly recommend if it's within your price range!
Perfect and peaceful spot in the lively town of Playa Santa Teresa. Lots of wild life monkeys around the house. Surf is great and right down the road. Youbi and Tatiana are very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved this cabin in the jungle. The view was excellent all while being amongst amongst the animals. Youbi was very helpful for any questions or recommendations we needed. Villa Guanacaste is absolutely beautiful and was ideal for our needs. Sam was a charming, helpful and attentive host and Marta the cleaner left the villa spotless every day. Kitchen could do with a sharper knife and is not ideally equipped for self-catering nights in but don't let that put you off! Head to Koji's for the best sushi we have ever eaten. The host and house were absolutely incredible.
It is in an amazing location central in the town and a very short walk away from the beach, restaurants, and stores. The house and pool were well maintained and very clean. Our only regret is not staying longer! Would recommend it to everyone! It has stunning views and you are visited each morning by howler monkeys as they make their descent down the mountain.
April also really made us feel at home with little touches such as maps, recommended restaurants, and fresh fruit for us upon arrival. The location is great to explore the whole peninsula.
We would definitely stay here again.
